since 2001 a holistic concept which has genuinely developed within the premises and has never been influenced by trends. a house for the arts in the cultural festival and world culture district of salzburg, on an axis with the museum of modern art and the "rupertinum".
the house performs its historical role and urban function as a platform for exchange, communication and encounters. it takes a position to actual arts, discussions and social developments and supports and furthers cultural initiatives in salzburg.
